Lighting the Way When Times Are Tough

Cape Town’s children go hungry due to poverty, unemployment, and deep inequality. Despite South Africa producing enough food, rising living costs and limited opportunities make it unaffordable for many families. As a result, households are forced to skip meals or rely on low-quality food, leading to widespread malnutrition and food insecurity.

At Hope Ignites, we are lighting the way through faith, compassion, and action. Together with our community, we are restoring hope and making a difference where it’s needed most.
